A cold depression and thunderstorms are expected in areas of the country

Some areas of the country are expected to be affected today, Sunday, by light to moderate rain, which may be accompanied by thunder at times, as a result of a cold air groove accompanied by a surface depression.

It is expected that the clouds will gradually increase in the coming hours, and may include the formation of some rain cells that may be thundery at times in some areas of the country.

The storm center stated through its account on the “X” platform that the depression is classified as a definite depression, as instantaneous wind maps show a clear rotation of winds around its center, in addition to a slight southerly shift of the center of the depression, which enhances the chances of precipitation today in some areas, with the cold front pushing towards the Arabian Gulf, and it is expected to form more clearly tomorrow.
