Mona Kamal explains the reason for her separation from Ahmed Mekky

Mai Kamal said in a post on her Instagram account that separation does not necessarily mean there is enmity, adding: “It does not mean that if two people separate, there will be wars between them, or if one of them is exposed to a crisis, I will leave him alone, even if he does not ask for it. Good is stronger than any evil.”

She added: “The main reason for my separation from Ahmed is his business manager and the gang around him. I kept silent for years because of his mother and out of fear for him, but after his mother’s death, I felt that my energy was completely gone.”

She confirmed that her feelings towards Makki have not changed and that she does not have any negative feelings for him, saying: “This does not mean that I hate him or will leave him no matter what happens.” She also indicated that she was making excuses for him and considered him a loyal person who respected his family, pointing out that he was keen to respect his relationship with his business manager despite the damage she caused him, according to her expression.

She concluded by emphasizing that the relationship between them is still based on “good” and praying for him: “What is between me and him is good that cannot be valued by the treasures of the world, and Ahmed Mekki is not an ordinary person to me, and I will always pray for him.”

Mai Kamal’s post coincided with the crisis that Ahmed Mekky was going through after he filed an official report against his business manager in which he accused her of seizing an amount of 66 million pounds, noting that she took advantage of a power of attorney granting her the authority to manage his financial affairs and refrained from submitting statements of accounts related to his business.
