The week of celebration of UAE-Kuwaiti relations begins in all the emirates of the country next Thursday

In implementation of the directives of the wise leadership, to celebrate the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the United Arab Emirates and the sisterly State of Kuwait for a week in all the emirates of the country, a wide package of more than 40 community, cultural and entertainment events will be launched next Thursday, extending until next February 4 under the title “The Emirates and Kuwait…brothers forever”, highlighting the close historical relations between the two brotherly countries in various economic, educational, media, cultural and sporting aspects, and launching to new horizons in the process of strengthening ties. Brotherhood between the two states and the two peoples.
The “UAE and Kuwait Brothers Forever” week includes an integrated program of various activities in the various emirates of the country, and includes lighting up iconic landmarks in the UAE in the colors of the Kuwaiti flag, fireworks and drone displays, in addition to organizing an innovative marine march that embodies the meanings of brotherhood and cohesion between the two countries, and singing and artistic concerts to celebrate the shared artistic heritage between the two brotherly countries.
The events also include strategic forums, sessions and dialogues, cultural and artistic programs directed at families and children, workshops inspired by Kuwaiti heritage, showing classic Kuwaiti films in cinemas, a Kuwaiti food festival, in addition to activities in commercial centers and tourist areas, and special receptions for Kuwaiti citizens at the country’s airports with souvenirs.
Within the “UAE and Kuwait Brothers Forever” week, the Emirati-Kuwait Media Forum will be held on January 29, drawing inspiration from historical, cultural and humanitarian milestones that brought together the two brotherly countries and peoples through decades of mutual cooperation. The forum’s activities represent a comprehensive platform that reviews educational, media, cultural and sports relations, and honors the pioneers who contributed to building these ties since their beginnings.
The forum focuses on the two countries’ keenness to enhance the spirit and values of common brotherhood, and highlights the pioneering role of the two countries in shaping the common Gulf identity. It also celebrates the prominent cooperation between the two sides in various fields, and displays rare documents and photos that reflect the depth of communication between the UAE and Kuwait.
The forum offers strategic dialogues with prominent diplomatic and cultural figures, highlighting the prospects for fruitful bilateral relations between the UAE and Kuwait, and the future of Gulf cooperation.
The various sessions highlight how cooperation has extended from classrooms to the fields of sports, art and poetry, with the aim of perpetuating an extended process of shared history, ties of brotherhood and mutual cooperation between the two countries in all fields.
The “UAE and Kuwait Brothers Forever” week also includes the UAE-Kuwait Economic Forum, held on February 2, with the aim of strengthening economic, trade and investment ties, and highlighting the depth of the historical relations that bind the two countries.
The forum contributes to opening new horizons for cooperation between the two countries. It also strengthens the process of close relations between the two countries, as it seeks to explore investment and economic opportunities, promote and develop trade in the targeted sectors between the two countries, in addition to exchanging visions about the future of bilateral relations, discussing institutional frameworks capable of deepening integration, supporting entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises, and highlighting success stories in both countries.
In the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, the “Emirates and Kuwait are Brothers Forever” week will witness the organization of the “Eternal Nights of Kuwait in the Emirates” event on January 29 at the Abu Dhabi Exhibition Center – ADNEC, and it will include a singing and artistic concert with the participation of an elite group of singing stars in the Emirates and the State of Kuwait, namely Nabil Shuail, Ahlam, Ayda Al-Menhali, and Abdulaziz Al-Duwaihi.
A festive parade will also be organized, including sailboats decorated with the flags of the UAE and the State of Kuwait, along the Abu Dhabi waterfront, in a symbolic painting inspired by the authentic Gulf heritage, embodying the depth of the historical ties between the two brotherly peoples.
Throughout the week of celebrating UAE-Kuwaiti relations, several events will be held on Yas Island in cooperation with Miral, including a variety of recreational activities and events in the theme parks on Yas Island, in addition to an exclusive package of discounts on entry tickets and facilities for Emirati and Kuwaiti citizens.
A group of landmarks and iconic buildings in Abu Dhabi will be illuminated in the colors of the Kuwaiti flag, as an expression of the deep-rooted spirit of brotherhood between the two countries, the leadership and the people.
During the week celebrating UAE-Kuwaiti relations, Kuwaiti citizens receive free entry to the Sheikh Zayed Festival, which hosts several events including fireworks displays, popular and singing bands, the distribution of souvenirs, and a photo exhibition highlighting UAE-Kuwaiti relations.
Zayed International Airport receives Kuwaiti brothers arriving to Abu Dhabi with welcome activities and souvenirs throughout the week, embodying the values of authentic Emirati hospitality, in addition to activities in commercial centers, the Abu Dhabi Children’s Library, Manarat Al Saadiyat, the Heritage Village in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain Oasis, and a package of discounts in tourist attractions, which include Al Hosn Palace, the Zayed Museum, the Louvre Museum and the Natural History Museum.
Yas Bay Waterfront on Yas Island will host nightly drone shows over the course of a week, from January 29 to February 4, 2026, which paint artistic paintings of colors and lights in the sky in celebration of UAE-Kuwait relations.
In the Emirate of Dubai, the “Emirates and Kuwait are Brothers Forever” week will witness the organization of the “Eternal Nights of Kuwait in the Emirates” event on January 30 at Burj Park – The Boulevard in Dubai, and it includes a singing and artistic concert with the participation of an elite group of singing stars in the Emirates and the State of Kuwait, namely Hussein Al Jasmi, Mutrif Al Mutrif, Balqis, and Khaled Al Muzaffar.
The cultural and artistic event “Kuwait at Home” will also be organized at Jumeirah Kite Beach, which will last from January 29 until February 4 and includes an open space with a sea view that brings together music, live performances and food in a contemporary experience that highlights Emirati and Kuwaiti culture.
Jumeirah Kite Beach will also host a youth circle bringing together young people from Kuwait and the Emirates on February 3, and a singing concert performed by artist Ibrahim Dashti on February 4, in addition to air shows by the “Fursan Al Emirates Air Show” team on February 1 and 2.
The Global Village is organizing a rich program of events and performances that reflect the depth of Kuwaiti culture and the richness of its national heritage, and embody the strength of the fraternal relations that bring together the United Arab Emirates and the sisterly State of Kuwait, as the parts of the Global Village and the Kuwait Pavilion will be decorated with a vibrant festive atmosphere.
The Art Dubai Museum participates in celebrating Emirati-Kuwaiti relations through a special art show, hosted by the Dubai Mall.
Over the course of the week celebrating Emirati-Kuwaiti relations, Kuwaiti Cinema Week will be organized, which is a cultural event to screen classic Kuwaiti films and be held in Dubai cinemas to highlight the Kuwaiti cinematic heritage.
The Art House in Expo City, February 3, highlights the cultural heritage, creative imagination, and vibrant artistic spirit of the Kuwaiti people through a cultural program that celebrates Kuwaiti creativity. Activities include a performance of the national anthem presented by the Firdaus Orchestra, and an artistic dialogue session with Kuwaiti artist Munira Al-Shami. Guests are also invited to enjoy an experience pulsing with the tunes of Kuwaiti folk music, guided tours inside the Art House, and an evening with a selected program of Kuwaiti films.
The activities include drone displays on Marsa Boulevard on February 2, and fireworks in the Burj Al Arab and Dubai Festival City areas on January 29. Over the course of a week, Festival City will host a daily interactive visual show using light projection techniques.
The events also include a special reception for Kuwaiti citizens at Dubai International Airport, lighting up iconic landmarks in Dubai, in addition to activities in commercial centers, Kuwaiti restaurants and cafes in the Emirates, and discounts in some hotels in Dubai.
In the Emirate of Fujairah, from January 29 to February 4, the most prominent landmarks there will be illuminated in the colors of the Kuwaiti flag, while on January 31, Fujairah Castle will host the Kuwait Festival in Fujairah, which includes various artistic and cultural activities, displaying pictures of pieces donated from Kuwait and displayed in the Fujairah Museum, in addition to interactive activities, a corner for productive families, and multiple Kuwaiti artistic exhibitions.
In the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, from January 29 to February 4, the most prominent iconic landmarks will be illuminated in the colors of the Kuwaiti flag, while on February 4, the Ministry of Culture Theater will host a concert with the participation of artists from the UAE and the State of Kuwait.
A Kuwaiti food festival will also be organized on Al Marjan Island, lasting from January 29 to February 1, where an integrated Kuwaiti food experience will be presented, including accompanying activities such as interactive activities, popular Kuwaiti games, and heritage sessions that reflect Kuwaiti culture.
The relations between the United Arab Emirates and the sisterly State of Kuwait are an exceptional model of brotherhood and bilateral cooperation, as they are based on deep historical ties and strong humanitarian ties, the foundations of which were laid by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, and Sheikh Sabah Al-Salem Al-Sabah, may God have mercy on him. Kuwait was one of the first supporters of the UAE Union in 1971, and contributed to supporting its progress strongly, and the State of Kuwait was also one of the first countries to establish Official and diplomatic relations with the Emirates after the establishment of the Union, as the State Embassy in Kuwait was opened in 1972, while the Embassy of the State of Kuwait was opened in Abu Dhabi in the same year.
