Mohammed bin Rashid launches the second phase of the Dubai International Financial Centre

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, announced the launch of the second phase of the Dubai International Financial Center under the name “Zabeel District”.

His Highness said in a blog post on the “X” platform: “Today we launched the second phase of the Dubai International Financial Center – Zabeel District – to accommodate 125,000 specialists on an area of ​​17 million floor feet… with a total value of 100 billion dirhams… to achieve our goal of being among the four largest financial centers in the world.”

His Highness added: “The new project will include an expansion of the Center’s Financial Academy to accommodate 50,000 students annually… and an innovation center for the digital economy on an area of ​​one million square feet that will accommodate 6,000 companies and 30,000 specialists in artificial intelligence… in addition to launching a center for arts and culture, a conference center and technical infrastructure that is the best in the world to support financial companies.”

His Highness continued: “Our national economy is going through qualitative transformations… and our expansions aim to achieve developmental leaps… and our future as an international economic center is strengthening day after day.”
