The Emirati-Kuwaiti Media Forum begins the day after tomorrow and reviews historical relations and their future prospects

In implementation of the directives of the wise leadership to celebrate the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the United Arab Emirates and the sisterly State of Kuwait, the “Emirati-Kuwaiti Media Forum” will be launched next Thursday as part of the activities of the “UAE and Kuwait… Brothers Forever” week, which begins on January 29 for a week in all the emirates of the country.

The forum constitutes a comprehensive platform for reviewing educational, media, cultural and sports relations between the two countries, and honoring the pioneers who contributed to building these ties from their beginnings. It includes 8 main sessions in which an elite group of speakers from the two countries participate.

The forum offers strategic dialogues with prominent diplomatic and cultural figures, to shed light on the prospects for bilateral relations and the future of Gulf cooperation, and to recall the historical, cultural and humanitarian milestones that brought the two peoples together through years of mutual exchange and cooperation.

The session “Strategic Partnership and Brotherhood Forever” reviews the political and diplomatic track of UAE-Kuwaiti relations through its most prominent stations, in which His Excellency Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, speaks, and the session is moderated by Khalifa Al-Muzain.

The session “The Gulf War and Emirati-Kuwaiti Cohesion” highlights the honorable Emirati role in Kuwait during the Iraqi invasion crisis in 1990, and is attended by Lieutenant General, retired Pilot Rashad Mohammed Al Saadi, Major General, Retired Pilot, Obaid Al Anazi, Major General, Retired Pilot, Saber Al Suwaidan, and Retired Lieutenant Colonel, Salem Ali Ahmed Al Shehhi. The session is moderated by journalist Jamal Al Mulla.

The session, “The Future Generation: Emiratis in Kuwait and the Experience of Academic Excellence,” discusses the pioneering educational experience of Emirati students in Kuwait, and its role in building strong and fruitful fraternal relationships and bonds in the field of education.

The Secretary-General of the Emirates Theatricians Association, Dr. Habib Al-Attar, and Jamal Matar, a journalist, author and theater director, participate in the session, and the session is moderated by Hamad Qalam.
In the session “The Historical Cultural Landscape of Kuwait in the Emirates… Roots and Features,” the mutual cultural influence between the two countries from an early stage, and the common features and foundations between the Emirates and Kuwait in this field, is reviewed. Bilal Al-Budour, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Culture and Science Symposium, speaks at the session, and is moderated by Hind Al-Naqbi.

The session “Sports in the Emirates and Kuwait…One Spirit” presents the most prominent stages of sports cooperation between the two countries, before and after the union, and discusses the impact of the Gulf championships and joint camps on bringing people together. Muzaffar Al-Haj, the former cultural attaché in the State of Kuwait, and Bashar Abdullah, the acting director of the General Authority for Sports in the State of Kuwait, participate in the session. The session is moderated by Muhammad Al-Joker, a researcher and media sports historian.

The “Emirati-Kuwaiti Song” session addresses the process of artistic cooperation between the Emirates and Kuwait, and sheds light on the stages in which the joint song turned into a cultural and emotional symbol for the peoples of the Gulf. It is attended by Khaled Nasser, a composer and composer, composer Anwar Abdullah, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwaiti Artists Association, and composer Ibrahim Jumaa, arts advisor at the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for the Revival of Heritage. The session is moderated by Asmahan Al-Naqbi.

The session, “The Voice of Youth and Digital Media: Strengthening Emirati-Kuwaiti Relations Through Content,” highlights the profound transformations brought about by digital media in the concept of media influence, and focuses on the pioneering Emirati and Kuwaiti experiences in this field. Ali Najm and Mona Al-Raisi participate in the session, and the session is moderated by Hajar Al-Khoury.
