Shakira headlines the “Offlimits” music festival… on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi

O’Flimates Music Festival, the first and largest entirely outdoor festival in the UAE, announced the launch of its new session, which will be held on April 4, 2026, at Etihad Park on Yas Island – Abu Dhabi, where the international music icon, Shakira, will headline the first concerts of this session, in a musical event that is expected to attract a wide audience from inside and outside the country.

The “Offlimits” festival is known for its diverse musical identity, which blends different musical styles, in addition to presenting several stages at the same time, combining music, art, visual design and cultural experiences, to give attendees an enthusiastic atmosphere and a complete outdoor entertainment experience.

Shakira is considered one of the most influential artists in the world. Sales of her works have exceeded 95 million copies worldwide, and she has won four Grammy Awards and 15 Latin Grammy Awards, and she is classified as the most listened to Latin artist in history. The international star is scheduled to give a special concert in Abu Dhabi, as part of her “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” global tour, during which she will present a group of her most prominent works in a live show, which is expected to dazzle her fans from all over the world.

Along with Shakira, an elite group of international and regional artists will participate, within a carefully coordinated artistic program, to reflect the identity of the “Offlimits” festival. As a bold music platform that celebrates diversity and creativity, more names of participating artists will be announced soon.

The “Offlimits” festival is distinguished by its nature that brings together an audience from diverse cultural backgrounds, to provide shared moments that remain in the memory, presenting a modern vision of live entertainment experiences, by integrating music, art and lifestyle, away from the traditional templates of single-style festivals.

The “festival” witnessed its first launch last year, headlined by the participation of international star Ed Sheeran, along with an elite group of international artists and bands, such as: “OneRepublic,” “Kaiser Chiefs,” and “Faithless,” in addition to the electronic music duo “Artbat,” the “Fun Lovin’ Criminals” band, and the artist Zayn, which consolidated “OFFLIMETS”’s position among the most prominent cultural and musical events anticipated in Abu Dhabi.

The Offlimits Music Festival is organized by Theory Eleven Entertainment, in cooperation with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, and Miral, the leading company in developing immersive destinations and experiences in the emirate.
