A tender to market Gulf Air’s activity on social media in China

The Tenders and Auctions Board opened the envelopes of 8 public tenders, presenting 42 different bids, the most prominent of which was Gulf Air’s tender to appoint a marketing agency in China to manage the company’s activity on social media, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s tender to lease a plot of land in Salman Industrial City and work on developing and operating a commercial and service center.
The Ministry stated that the supplier with the winning bid will be responsible for the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the facilities for a period of 25 years, as the Ministry obtained a single bid amounting to 450 thousand dinars.
In another tender, the Ministry of Industry and Trade wants to lease a plot of land in the Al-Mazraa Industrial Area and work on developing and operating a commercial and service center, and the winner will be responsible for it for a period of 25 years, as it received a single bid, amounting to 264 thousand dinars. The Ministry of Industry and Trade also launched a third tender, inviting suppliers to submit their offers to lease a plot of land in the Ma’ameer Industrial Zone and work on developing and operating a commercial and service center for a period of 5 years. It received a single bid, amounting to 51 thousand dinars.
On the other hand, the Electricity and Water Authority wants to supply, install and operate a continuous power supply (UPS) system with Ni-Cd batteries at Al Areen Water Distribution Station, reinforced tanks in Al Areen, Bahrain Financial Harbor Water Distribution Station, Salmabad Water Pumping Station, and Riffa Water Mixing Station, for which it received 6 bids, the least of which was 251.9 thousand dinars. For its part, the Ministry of Works would like to obtain engineering consulting services for the preliminary “services” works on Sheikh Salman Street, including the South Isa Town Intersection, and the December 16 Interchange, projects of the “General Traffic Administration Intersection,” for which it received a single bid, amounting to 229 thousand dinars. In turn, Gulf Air is seeking to appoint a marketing agency in China to manage Gulf Air’s activity on social media, as the company is looking for expert guidance to adapt its content and marketing strategy to local markets. The tender received 6 bids, the least of which amounted to 83 thousand dinars.
On the other hand, the Tenders and Auctions Board opened a tender to the Capital Municipality, which wants construction and civil works for a 1.2 km long walkway near Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi Street in the capital area.
She indicated that the works include supplying and installing cement tiles according to specifications and cement edges, taking into account the level of the walkway and site conditions. The tender received 20 bids, the least of which was 39 thousand dinars.
For its part, Bahrain Polytechnic issued a tender to purchase equipment for the School of Visual Design, because the College of Creative Media at Bahrain Polytechnic offers specialized programs in films and animation, visual design, web media, and creative media design. It received 6 bids, the least of which amounted to 20 thousand dinars.
