The President of the State confirms the UAE’s support for everything that enhances the security and stability of the region

Yesterday, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, made a phone call with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian.

During the call, His Highness and the Iranian President discussed the relations of the two countries and ways to strengthen them in a way that serves their common interests and brings good to their people.

The two sides also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of common concern, most notably developments in the region and the efforts made towards them. In this context, His Highness stressed the UAE’s keenness to support all endeavors and initiatives aimed at establishing regional security and stability for the benefit of all the peoples and countries of the region.

During the call, the two sides stressed the importance of strengthening dialogue and diplomatic solutions in addressing various issues, thus contributing to maintaining the security and stability of the region.
