The Head of State meets a number of state leaders, heads of government and delegations participating in the “World Government Summit 2026”

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him, met today with a number of leaders of countries, heads of government and delegations participating in the World Government Summit 2026, which is being held in Dubai under the slogan “Foreseeing the Governments of the Future.”
His Highness met – separately – with the President of the Republic of North Macedonia, Gordana Selja Novska Davkova, and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Latvia, Ivica Selina.
His Highness discussed with them the bilateral relations between the UAE and the Republics of North Macedonia and Latvia, especially in the economic, trade, investment and development fields, and ways to enhance cooperation and joint work to expand their horizons in a way that serves the aspirations towards more sustainable growth and prosperity for all.
The meeting touched on the summit’s agenda aimed at strengthening international cooperation and finding effective solutions to the most prominent current global challenges to advance government work and enable it to play its effective role in the development and prosperity of societies.
On the sidelines of the World Government Summit 2026, His Highness the President also met with a number of leaders of African countries, heads of government and representatives participating in the summit, and exchanged conversations with them about the relations of the UAE and their countries and the mutual keenness to build fruitful partnerships that serve development priorities and contribute to achieving the aspirations of their people.
His Highness stressed the UAE’s keenness to continue expanding its cooperation base with the countries of the African continent, especially in the areas of developing government work, based on its approach to building sustainable development partnerships that contribute to achieving progress and prosperity for all societies.
The meetings were attended by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Office for Special Affairs, and a number of ministers and senior state officials.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan had previously arrived at the summit headquarters, where he visited a number of government bodies’ platforms and exchanged conversations with their officials about the most important topics and innovative solutions they propose that contribute to achieving sustainable development and prosperity.
