"Furjan Dubai" Launches the fourth session of Al Furjan Festival
Dubai, February 4, 2017 – The activities of the fourth session of the Al Furjan Festival, organized by the Dubai Furjan Foundation, will begin tomorrow, Thursday, in Mushrif National Park, from February 5 to 15.
The festival contributes to enhancing rapprochement and meeting among Al Furjan members, and consolidating the values of community solidarity.
Al Furjan Festival witnesses wide participation from the restaurant and home projects sectors, as it includes about 28 restaurants and 30 home projects.
A number of volunteers from different age groups participate in organizing the festival activities. Al Furjan Festival 2026 is held under the patronage of Dubai Municipality, Dubai Parks and the Department of Lands and Properties as main sponsors, the Dubai Community Development Authority as a main partner, Dubai Chambers, the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, Dubai Customs and Leap as strategic sponsors, Emirates Islamic Bank as a banking sponsor, in addition to Al Amin Service, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority, Parkin, and in partnership with the Dubai Contributions Corporation. Alia Al Shamlan, Director of Furjan Dubai, confirmed that the festival in its fourth session embodies a practical translation of the directives of the wise leadership in promoting family and community cohesion, in line with the declaration of 2026 as the “Year of the Family” and the goals of Dubai Social Agenda 33, noting that the festival constitutes a unifying space for members of society, and provides a safe and open environment for meeting and communication between the people of Furjan and families, in a way that enhances the values of closeness, belonging, and social solidarity.
She added that the festival is keen this year to provide an integrated community experience that combines entertainment, culture, and supporting the creative economy.
