Mohammed bin Rashid witnesses the graduation of the third batch of “Leaders of Future Governments” in the Arab world

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, may God protect him, witnessed the graduation of the third batch of the “Leaders of Future Governments” program in the Arab world, as part of the activities of the “World Government Summit 2026” in Dubai.
His Highness stressed that the UAE believes that building the capabilities of the new generation of future leaders in Arab governments represents a foundation for advancing Arab government work on the basis of proactiveness, readiness, sustainable development, and flexibility in facing the accelerating challenges that the world is going through.
His Highness said: “We in the UAE believe that building Arab administrative capabilities capable of leading positive change in a rapidly developing world represents the major task and first priority of governments, in their endeavor to keep pace with emerging global trends and actively participate in leading the change that the world is going through today. We realize that the successful experiences of governments came as a result of their investment in people and their national cadres, and the result of their keenness to build and empower generations of young government leaders, and enhance their skills, to contribute to building a better future. to their communities.”
The graduation was attended by Minister of State for Government Development and the Future, Vice President of the World Government Summit, Ohood bint Khalfan Al-Roumi, and a number of officials also attended.
The program, which is organized in partnership between the government of the UAE and the Arab Organization for Administrative Development at the League of Arab States, aims to build an Arab leadership generation empowered with tomorrow’s skills required by future governments, by preparing young Arab government leaders. It was implemented in cooperation with the Government Knowledge Exchange Program and the Mohammed bin Rashid College of Government.
The third session of the Future Government Leaders in the Arab World program included 29 young government leaders in Arab countries.
The program provided an integrated experience that included 30 leadership meetings with government officials, and dialogues with experts in future sectors from Arab countries, in addition to future accelerators, applied challenges, virtual councils, and future policy design laboratories, which formed a stimulating environment for developing innovative solutions in areas such as future legislation, proactive service design, flexible governance, and government talent readiness.
The program focused on 4 transformational axes, including innovative government services, smart legislation, government talent readiness, and sustainable and green development. The program adopted a practical training methodology that included leadership meetings, dialogues, strategic laboratories, virtual councils, field visits, and individual leadership guidance, in addition to an educational visit to the UAE.
The Future Government Leaders Program in the Arab World reflects the joint endeavor to prepare an Arab generation capable of shaping the future of government work and transforming challenges into sustainable development opportunities. Since its launch 3 years ago, it has witnessed the graduation of 100 leaders from the Arab world who form a sustainable Arab leadership network that leads change and creates impact.
