Dar Al Ber Association conducts a new Umrah trip for 80 beneficiaries of limited income

DUBAI, 6 FEBRUARY / WAM / Dar Al Ber Society has completed a new version of its charitable project, “Umrah Al-Omar” 2026, with the participation of 80 low-income and deserving Umrah pilgrims who are unable to perform the rituals financially, from different nationalities.
Dr. Hisham Al-Zahrani, Director of the Zakat and Community Service Department at Dar Al-Bar Association, confirmed that the Association continues to successfully implement the religious charitable project for the fourteenth year in a row, as the project began in 2012, bringing the total number of project trips to 36 trips so far.
He explained that the charitable project aims to help those who are financially unable to perform the Umrah rituals and who have never performed it before, and to instill legal awareness, advice and guidance among the pilgrims, in addition to translating and activating one of the association’s strategic goals, which is to provide utilitarian services to make communities happy. He pointed out that the trip was divided between 3 days in Mecca, 3 in Medina, and two days on the way back and forth in comfortable buses.
He pointed out that the “Umrah of a Lifetime” project is characterized by providing meals to the beneficiary pilgrims for the duration of the 8-day trip, providing hotels close to the Two Holy Mosques in Mecca and Medina, providing “supervisors” from the association to accompany the pilgrims during the trip to ensure their comfort, implementing the project as fully as possible, guides and mentors to guide the pilgrims and teaching them how to perform the Umrah rituals, visiting the “Mashaer” sites in Medina, and providing Zamzam water to the pilgrims for free.
Al-Zahrani expressed his sincere thanks to the benefactors and donors for their generous support, which enabled hundreds to perform Umrah rituals and visit the Two Holy Mosques and contributed to the success of the project and its continuity over 14 years.
