Start preparing a ship "Mother of the Emirates Humanity" Within a process "The gallant knight 3"
Abu Dhabi, February 8, 2017 – Today, the work of equipping and loading the “Mother of the Emirates Humanitarian Ship” began, as part of the United Arab Emirates’ continued efforts within the framework of “Operation Gallant Knight 3” to support the brothers in the Gaza Strip.
This step comes in the context of the pioneering humanitarian efforts led by the United Arab Emirates to enhance the urgent humanitarian response, alleviate the suffering of those affected, and meet basic needs in light of the difficult humanitarian circumstances.
The “Mother of the Emirates Humanitarian” ship embodies the UAE’s firm commitment to its humanitarian approach, and a translation of the directives of its wise leadership in extending a helping hand to those in need, promoting the values of human solidarity, and supporting stability through sustainable relief initiatives.
This ship is an extension of the series of humanitarian ships launched by the UAE as part of Operation Gallant Knight 3, which has contributed to delivering thousands of tons of relief aid to the Gaza Strip since the launch of the operation.
This aid coincides with the approaching month of Ramadan, as it will contribute to supporting affected families and providing basic food and living needs, alleviating the humanitarian burdens during the holy month, and enhancing the values of solidarity and compassion that the UAE follows in its humanitarian initiatives.
