Egyptian statement regarding a fire at Cairo Airport

The Cairo Air Port Company announced that a limited fire broke out on Sunday morning inside a caravan at Cairo International Airport.
The company explained that upon receiving the report, civil protection forces moved to the site of the accident, where the fire was completely controlled and extinguished using foam extinguishing materials, while carrying out the necessary cooling works, without recording any injuries or losses.
She added that a team from the forensic laboratory moved to the site of the accident to conduct a technical inspection and open an investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the incident.
In the same context, the Sky News Arabia website quoted sources at Cairo International Airport that the fire occurred inside one of the offices near the cargo village, noting that civil protection vehicles and ambulances immediately moved to the site of the report, and the fire was dealt with and controlled in record time, with the necessary insurance measures being taken.
The sources confirmed that the accident did not affect the airport’s operation, as air traffic continues normally, with flights taking off and landing regularly according to approved operating schedules.
