"Civil aviation" It explains the developments in the air transport services agreement with Algeria and confirms the continuation of flights during the transitional period

Abu Dhabi, 8 February / WAM / In light of the notification received from the sisterly People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria regarding the suspension of the air transport services agreement between the two countries, the General Civil Aviation Authority clarified that this measure comes within the mechanisms stipulated in the frameworks of international agreements, and does not have any immediate impact on the movement of flights, as the agreement remains in force within the specified legal period, and air operations between the two countries continue normally.
The Authority confirmed that coordination is continuing with all concerned parties through official channels, and is dealing with these developments responsibly and professionally, and in accordance with the approved legal and diplomatic frameworks.
