His Excellency visited Professor Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Jalajel, today, , to monitor the field readiness of health services in preparation for .
This is within the framework of the Ministry of Health’s efforts to enhance the quality of health care and facilitate access to it, in line with the objectives of the health sector transformation program emanating from the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, to build a highly prepared and efficient health system.
Rehabilitation and Development
After his meeting with the Hajj and Umrah Supervisory Coordination Committee for the health system in the region, His Excellency inspected a number of vital health facilities and health centres. In the central area, to see the readiness of the services provided to visitors and families.
During the tour, he reviewed the workflow and services provided, and reviewed a number of development works and raising operational efficiency, which included developing operating rooms, rehabilitating, developing and expanding outpatient departments, in addition to developing nursery services, which contributes to raising the quality of health care and improving the experience of beneficiaries.
His Excellency followed up on the development work of a number of specialized departments, which included creating critical care services, developing emergency services, and enhancing the readiness of operational support facilities. As part of the health system’s efforts to enhance absorptive capacity and raise the efficiency of operational performance.
Providing integrated services
The health system in the Medina region continues to provide its services through more than (198) health facilities, to serve more than (2.1) million people, within an integrated system that focuses on raising the quality of health care, enhancing patient safety, and achieving the highest standards of performance and operational efficiency.
These field visits come as an extension of the efforts made in Raising the readiness of health facilities during the seasons, and enhancing the continuity of providing health care with high efficiency.
This is to ensure the provision of integrated services during the holy month of Ramadan, and enhance the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
