A delegation from the German Bavarian Police praises the development achievements and innovative efforts achieved by the Abu Dhabi Police

Abu Dhabi, 9 February / WAM / The Bavarian Police in the Federal Republic of Germany praised the development achievements and innovative efforts achieved by the Abu Dhabi Police, stressing the importance of strengthening international partnerships, adopting joint technical initiatives, and exchanging experiences, as this has a positive impact in supporting the efficiency of security work and keeping pace with global changes.

The delegation was briefed on the efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police General Command and the most prominent development practices and advanced systems adopted, which contribute to enhancing the sustainability of security and raising the level of police readiness in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, within the framework of its keenness to enhance international cooperation and exchange experiences with security institutions in friendly countries.

Brigadier General Dr. Rashid Mohammed Burshid, Director of the Saif Bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences, received the delegation and briefed it on the approved training and qualification system. Ways of coordination and cooperation were discussed in the fields of police and security work, exchanging scientific and specialized knowledge, and conducting benchmark comparisons of best practices and development services, in addition to learning about the academy’s pioneering role in employing the latest contemporary technologies in modern police and security training in accordance with the best international standards and practices.

The delegation was also briefed on the most prominent development experiences and modern systems applied in the special missions sector, including operational readiness, rapid response mechanisms, and the use of advanced technologies in carrying out security tasks. The delegation was also introduced to the approved training and qualification programs, and the best professional practices that contribute to raising the efficiency of performance and enhancing the sustainability of security, in line with international standards and reflecting the advanced level that the Abu Dhabi Police has reached in developing its security system.

The delegation visited the Forensic Evidence Department in the Criminal Security Sector, and listened to an explanation about the efforts of forensic experts in detecting crime using modern forensic sciences. It also listened to an explanation from the Safe City Administration about the most prominent developments and systems used in traffic and criminal aspects, and the smart technologies and systems used to manage traffic safety, and employing the best levels of efficiency and effectiveness in decision-making.

The Bavarian Police delegation was briefed on the qualification and training programs approved by the Police Qualification Department, and the modern training methodologies applied by Abu Dhabi Police in accordance with international best practices, in addition to the specialized curricula concerned with raising leadership competency and enhancing the field and academic skills of recruits and newcomers.

The delegation visited the Abu Dhabi Police Communications Center for Combating Financial Fraud, and learned about the mechanisms for receiving reports and dealing with financial fraud cases, and the center’s role in employing smart technologies to reduce these crimes and enhance community prevention.
