"Sharjah Chamber" She concludes her participation in "Sohar Investment Forum 2026"

Sharjah, February 9 / WAM / Yesterday, the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry concluded its participation in the activities of the “Sohar Investment Forum 2026”, which was held in the Sultanate of Oman with wide international participation.
The Chamber’s delegation was headed by His Excellency Walid Abdul Rahman Bu Khatir, Second Deputy Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and included Ziad Mahmoud Khairallah, Member of the Board of Directors, Jamal Saeed Bu Zangal, Director of the Corporate Communications Department, and Ali Al Jari, Director of the Sharjah Export Development Center at the Chamber.
During its participation in the forum sessions, the delegation was briefed on a number of investment opportunities presented by the forum to the participants, distributed across diverse and promising sectors, including food industries, iron industries, mining, plastics, recycling, industries supporting heavy industries, medical industries, aluminum industries, and other sectors that represent a priority for investors from Sharjah looking for opportunities for regional expansion and integration in supply chains.
Bukhatir stressed that the Chamber’s participation in the forum comes within its commitment to expanding the circle of opportunities for the business community in the emirate and enabling them to access promising markets and build long-term strategic partnerships, indicating that the Chamber is keen to convey all developments in regional economic forums in terms of opportunities and trends to the members in a way that supports their investment decisions and opens new horizons for sustainable growth.
He added that the international presence that the forum witnessed and the presentation of qualitative investment opportunities confirms the depth of the strategic partnership between the UAE and the Sultanate of Oman, pointing out that Sharjah possesses exceptional components that make it the ideal choice for investors wishing to benefit from economic diversification, strategic location, and advanced government facilities, which was emphasized during the meetings that the delegation held with the participants.
During its participation in the forum, the delegation held a series of bilateral meetings with representatives of Arab and international chambers of commerce, senior officials in economic institutions, businessmen and investors participating in the forum, during which the distinguished investment environment provided by the Emirate of Sharjah and the qualitative incentives available in various sectors were reviewed, in addition to introducing the advanced infrastructure and specialized free zones that make the emirate a regional platform for access to global markets.
The delegation reviewed the importance of strengthening investment partnerships and facilitating the entry of Emirati investors into effective partnerships that serve external expansion and enhance trade exchange with the business community in the Sultanate of Oman, in line with the Chamber’s strategy, which places among its priorities support for exporters and entrepreneurs and introducing them to opportunities that contribute to achieving growth and consolidating the economic leadership of the emirate.
