Egyptian artist Shaima Seif participated in the media program Nishan on Al Jadeed channel, where she revealed the experience of her marriage and separation from producer Mohamed Carter, noting that the separation did not cancel the feelings of mutual respect and appreciation between them.

Shaima said: “Carter is the best person in the world, but I wish we never got married or got married… Circumstances did not allow us to continue, and all respect will remain between us.”

She pointed out that the decision to separate came as a result of harsh circumstances that made continuation impossible, stressing that the relationship ended quietly and without conflicts.

Shaima spoke about her relationship with her father, revealing that she boycotted him for 10 years, during one of the most difficult periods she went through psychologically, stressing that the decision was personal, and was not at the instigation of her mother.

Shaima made a surprise by revealing her serious thoughts about staying away from art and social media, saying: “At work, I don’t plan anything, I leave it to God, but I want to stay away from art completely and stay with myself… and I don’t know why I want to disappear.”

She indicated that she wishes to wear the hijab, but she feels that fame may be an obstacle to taking this step in the way she desires.

Shaima announced that performing Hajj was an important turning point in her life, explaining that the idea of ​​staying away from the limelight and wearing the veil came to haunt her strongly after this spiritual experience.
