Zain Saudi Arabia’s profits increased by 1.3% to 604 million riyals in 2025

In 2025, Zain Saudi Arabia recorded its highest revenues ever, reaching 10.98 billion riyals compared to 10.36 billion Saudi riyals for the previous year, representing a growth of 6% (618 million riyals). This growth is due to the increase in revenues from the retail sector, through fifth generation (5G) services, and wholesale revenues, in addition to the expansion of the company’s business activity. The net profit for the year 2024 included non-recurring benefits with a total value of 233 million riyals, consisting of: 76 million riyals related to the implementation of the new zakat regulation, and 157 million riyals resulting from a one-time withholding tax on international movement.
Excluding these items, the net (operating) profit increased by 241 million riyals on an annual basis, reflecting a strong operating performance.
Distribution of cash dividends from 2025
The company’s Board of Directors recommended distributing financial dividends to shareholders for the fiscal year 2025, with a total of 449.36 million riyals.
The number of shares entitled to the dividend is 898.72 million shares, with a distribution ratio of 5% to the nominal value, so that the share of each share of the distribution is 0.5 riyals.
The eligibility for cash dividends will be for the shareholders who own the shares on the date of maturity and who are registered in the register. The company’s shareholders at the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) at the end of the second trading day following the day of the company’s general assembly, which will be announced later.
The distribution date will be announced later, after the general assembly approves the recommendation.
