The UAE air defenses handle 5 ballistic missiles and 35 drones
Abu Dhabi, 1st April / WAM / Today, Wednesday, the UAE air defenses dealt with 5 ballistic missiles and 35 drones coming from Iran.
Since the start of the blatant Iranian attacks, the UAE air defenses have dealt with 438 ballistic missiles, 19 cruise missiles, and 2,012 drones.
These attacks led to the martyrdom of two members of the armed forces while performing their national duty, in addition to the martyrdom of a civilian of Moroccan nationality contracting with the armed forces, and the killing of 9 civilians of Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Palestinian, and Indian nationalities, and the wounding of 190 with injuries ranging from minor, medium, and severe injuries of Emirati, Egyptian, Sudanese, Ethiopian, Filipino, and Pakistani nationalities. Iranian, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Azerbaijani, Yemeni, Ugandan, Eritrean, Lebanese, Afghan, Bahraini, Comoros, Turkish, Iraqi, Nepalese, Nigerian, Omani, Jordanian, Palestinian, Ghanaian, Indonesian, Swedish and Tunisian.
The Ministry of Defense confirms that it is fully prepared and prepared to deal with any threats and to firmly confront everything that aims to destabilize the state’s security, in a way that ensures the preservation of its sovereignty, security and stability and protects its national interests and capabilities.
