"Global philanthropy" Build 140 charitable complexes outside the country in 2025

Ajman, February 11, 2020 – The International Charitable Foundation announced that it has completed, during the year 2025, the implementation and construction of 140 integrated charitable complexes outside the country, worth 25 million dirhams, as part of its humanitarian mission aimed at improving the quality of life for the most needy groups, and enhancing societal stability in less developed regions.
The charitable complexes implemented by the Authority included mosques, schools, wells, and health centers, in addition to other facilities that meet the daily needs of residents and contribute to supporting sustainable development within the beneficiary communities.
Dr. Khaled Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the Authority, confirmed that these achievements are an embodiment of the UAE’s vision of charitable work, and an extension of its established approach to extending a helping hand to those in need around the world, without discrimination, and in a manner that establishes the values of human solidarity and interdependence.
He said that implementing 140 charitable complexes in one year reflects the magnitude of the effort exerted by the Authority’s teams and partners, and confirms its commitment to providing integrated development projects that leave a long-term impact on the lives of the beneficiary communities, and not just temporary solutions.
He explained that the Authority was keen to implement these complexes based on studying the actual needs of each region, and coordinating with local authorities, to ensure the sustainability of the projects and their operational efficiency, noting that the charitable complexes represent an integrated model of humanitarian work that links education, health, water and worship.
He added that the Authority continues to work to expand the scope of its projects in the coming years, focusing on the areas most in need, and strengthening partnerships with charitable institutions and donors, to ensure continuity of giving and maximize humanitarian impact.
