Spot transactions rose 0.7%… gold prices rose
today before trimming the gains it achieved earlier in the session.
It increased In spot transactions, 0.7% to $5,058.23 per ounce.
Gold prices
while US futures contracts rose April delivery was 1% to $5,081.90 per ounce.
As for other precious metals, silver in spot transactions rose 3.1% to $83.04 per ounce.
Platinum in spot transactions increased 1.5% to $2,117.13, while palladium rose 0.9% to $1,723.38.
