The National Project for Preparing and Empowering Professional Media Professionals of People of Determination opens registration for its training programs

Abu Dhabi, 12 February / WAM / The Zayed Authority for People of Determination announced the opening of registration for a package of training programs provided by the National Project for Preparing and Empowering Professional Media Professionals for People of Determination, which comes in cooperation with the National Media Authority and the Trends Center for Research and Consultation, with the aim of redefining the presence of People of Determination in the media scene, to be professional media professionals, content makers, and active participants in shaping public opinion, in accordance with the highest professional standards approved in the media sector.
The project offers a set of specialized training courses designed in accordance with the best international training standards, and with an applied methodology based on exercises and simulations, with the aim of refining the media skills of the participants, and empowering them with modern journalistic and media work tools in the fields of editing, audio-visual production, digital content creation, and media presentation, in a way that enhances their readiness for actual engagement in competitive media work environments.
The specialized courses cover a wide range of media fields, as they focus on building advanced skills through in-depth training courses that combine the professional and applied aspects, and are concerned with developing the analytical and creative capabilities of the participants, enhancing their efficiency in producing content with high professionalism, and dealing with modern media work environments efficiently and independently, ensuring their transition from the training stage to the production stage and professional practice with confidence and competence, keeping pace with the rapid transformations in the media industry and enhancing the trainees’ competitiveness in the labor market.
The courses offered by the project include a training course entitled the “Creative Writing Laboratory” training program, where the program provides a practical training path aimed at enabling participants to transform their ideas and experiences into strong and influential texts that can be published or presented, according to a professional methodology that combines creativity and editorial discipline.
The program focuses on developing writing skills as a tool for human expression and content creation, and enhancing the professional presence of participants through producing an integrated final text, supported by writing and editing tools that can be used continuously.
The project also offers a training course entitled “Influential Narrative and Story Creation for Digital and Social Media Platforms” program, with the aim of enabling participants to transform their ideas, experiences, and societal issues into influential stories that can be published across digital platforms and social media platforms, according to a professional methodology that combines the power of narrative and clarity of the message, with a commitment to accuracy and responsibility.
The program seeks to develop narrative skills as a tool for creating awareness and achieving positive impact, and enhancing the professional presence of participants by producing final outputs ready for publication, supported by applied tools that can be used continuously, allowing the participant to build a career path in creating narrative and awareness content.
While the “Podcast” training program aims to enable participants to build an integrated podcast project: from formulating the idea and determining the editorial form, through writing the episode (Running Order/Script) and interview skills, all the way to sound quality, recording, editing, audio design, then the launch, distribution, marketing, and performance measurement plan. The program focuses on transforming podcasts from an “idea” into a viable audio product according to the best practices of planning, writing, production, and publishing.
The training package provided by the project includes a training program entitled “Professional Television Presenting,” which is a training course that works to develop the skills of the broadcaster/presenter in terms of voice and delivery, body language, managing interviews, dealing with the camera and live broadcast, and formulating sensitive messages accurately and calmly. The program relies on practical training to raise performance step by step.
The “Media Updates: Indispensable Tools and Concepts” program is one of the innovative program package offered by the project that supports the trainee with everything he needs to understand transformations and make better content decisions.
This program provides participants with a practical understanding of the most important transformations in media, platforms, and content creation, with an influential terminology package, basic work tools, and reference readings that help make better editorial and content decisions in daily reality.
The training program “Programme Direction: From Paper to Screen” trains program directors to manage program elements: directing vision, designing paragraphs, managing cameras and footage, leading the control room, and building the rhythm in a way that serves the message and ensures quality implementation, while the “Strategic Corporate Communication and Reputation Management” program, which targets corporate communication teams, focuses on building messages and unifying the organization’s voice, campaign planning, media relations management, institutional content, internal communication, and crisis response, with a professional impact measurement approach based on internationally approved planning and measurement frameworks.
The program aims to build a consistent messaging strategy linked to identity and goals, prepare official speakers, unify the institutional narrative, and plan institutional content: news, data, reports, and digital platforms.
The training program “Artificial Intelligence for Media: From Idea to Production and Verification” provides practical applications that introduce participants to how to employ artificial intelligence in the entire business cycle: research and monitoring, idea generation, drafting and editing, multimedia production, content verification and anti-counterfeiting, improving distribution and measuring performance with a clear framework for governance, ethics, transparency and human supervision.
The program aims to understand the realistic uses of artificial intelligence in media work and master the formulation of commands for the media: headlines, scripts, questions, summarizing, and the use of artificial intelligence in monitoring, analyzing trends, and creating stories.
The “Strategic Public Relations” training program seeks to train participants on creating a mental image and understanding public relations as a strategic function for managing reputation and building trust through influential relationships with the media, the public and partners, while planning campaigns and events, managing speakers, and measuring impact according to approved frameworks.
The training program package also includes the “Government Public Relations and Reputation Management” program, which is a specialized program for public relations teams in government and semi-governmental agencies, focusing on building mental image through disciplined communication with the media and the public, mastering protocol, managing the official spokesman, formulating sensitive messages, and responding to crises.
