About 185 thousand visitors to"Flower Festival 2026" With the eye

Al Ain, February 14 / WAM / The Al Ain City Municipality concluded the activities of the Al Ain Flower Festival 2026, which was held at Al Sarooj Park, as part of its continuing efforts to enhance the city’s aesthetic landscape and spread the culture of agriculture and sustainability, amid a remarkable public presence from different segments of society, and in a festive atmosphere that reflected the festival’s status as one of the most prominent community and tourism events in the city.

The festival attracted 184,817 visitors over the course of its holding, and included a variety of entertainment, cultural and educational activities that combined fun and knowledge, and contributed to consolidating the concepts of environmental sustainability and community participation.

Engineer Hessa Sahmi Al-Ahbabi, project manager, said that the 2026 edition of the festival reflected the municipality’s keenness to provide an integrated experience for visitors, combining natural beauty and sustainable technologies, stressing that the large turnout reflects the success of the event in achieving its environmental and societal goals, and enhancing awareness of the importance of agriculture and resource conservation.

She added that the festival included about 10 million flowers of 23 different types, in addition to 228 trees and 76 shrubs, distributed according to environmental designs that take into account the efficient use and sustainability of plant elements, in addition to organizing more than 90 specialized workshops that targeted more than 2,000 visitors from different age groups, and focused on home agriculture, plant care, and flower arrangement, in addition to organizing interactive workshops for children and families, which contributed to raising the level of interaction and promoting the culture of sustainability in a way Innovative and simplified.

Al-Ahbabi explained that the festival’s program included 4 fireworks displays that added a joyful festive atmosphere, in addition to classic car carnival displays that attracted the interest of classic vehicle enthusiasts, and displays of huge flower models whose heights ranged between 3 and 5 meters, forming innovative artistic paintings that attracted visitors and provided distinctive visual experiences for festival-goers.

The municipality confirmed that the “Al Ain Flower Festival” has become a leading annual platform that celebrates nature and beauty, and promotes the concepts of sustainability and social responsibility, pointing to the broad public interaction and active participation of the supporting agencies that contributed to the success of the event.
