"Remas" Calm the camels of the presidency "Saif Emirates" In my final conclusion

“Remas” wrote a new chapter in the historical dominance of the presidential camel emblem, after it snatched the most precious symbol of the festival, the “Sword of the Emirates” for the open year, under the leadership of the master, Sultan Muhammad Al-Wahaibi, recording a distinguished time of 11:57:0 minutes, to confirm the right of the red emblem to sovereignty for the fourth year in a row.

In the open Zamoul competitions, Al Rayyan, with the Al-Shahaniya camel logo, and under the supervision of track coach Faran Muhammad Hamad Qurai Al Marri, won the “Golden Rifle” after covering the 8-kilometer distance in a time of 12:02:4 minutes.

While “Abaad”, with the Hajin Al-Shahaniya logo, and under the guidance of the master Jaber Salem Faran Al-Marri, won the “dagger” of Al-Hawl Al-Mahaliyat, recording a time of 12:02:7 minutes.

“Al-Dheeb” had opened the record of the evening’s symbols by gifting the camel of the presidency and the tamper Sultan Muhammad Al-Wahaibi “Shaddad” Al-Zamul Al-Mahalia, with a time of 12:21:7 minutes.

His Excellency Sheikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Hamdan bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and Sheikh Tahnoon bin Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan were crowned winners of the symbols of the closing day on the Al Marmoum Square platform.

The rest of the participants were crowned winners of cups, rifles and daggers, bringing the curtain down on one of the strongest editions of the final festival in the history of Al Marmoom, confirming the UAE’s leadership in preserving and reviving the sport of our fathers and grandfathers.

Before the start of the champions’ crowning ceremony, Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Dubai Camel Racing Club, honored Al Tayer Motors, the official partner of the 2026 Marmoom Closing Festival, represented by Humaid Matar Al Tayer, the official representative of the company, in appreciation of its pioneering role and strategic partnership in making this great heritage wedding a success.

His Excellency Ali Saeed bin Suroud, Executive Director of the Dubai Camel Racing Club, congratulated all the winners at the Marmoom final, stressing that the competitions in all races, especially the last day, were characterized by competition amid a remarkable audience presence.

He said that the festival is a high-level Gulf-Emirati forum that is held on the Gulf racing calendar, amid wide participation that confirms its importance and great value in supporting traditional sports.

His Excellency Matar Ali bin Huwaiden, a member of the Camel Racing Federation, said: “We are proud of the success of the great event that concluded with the crowning of the presidential camels with the Emirates Sword, amid wide participation from various countries, and great support from our wise leadership.

He added that everyone is a winner at the end of Al-Marmoum, this great traditional sports wedding that confirms the interest in this type of sports, and the holding of various sporting events related to traditional sports.

The contenter, Sultan Muhammad Al-Wahaibi, expressed his happiness at crowning “Remas” Camel Presidential with the Saif Al-Emirates, amid strong and broad competition from various participants in the last round.

He thanked the wise leadership for its support in reaching this position, achieving achievements and preserving its gains.

While the heavy presence of foreign tourists painted a global picture in the stands of Al-Marmoum Square, who came in large numbers via the open-top tourist bus “BIG Bus” to keep up with the challenges of the closing day of the festival.

Tourists interacted with remarkable enthusiasm at the start of the “Sword of the Emirates” race, as the main platform was crowded with heritage enthusiasts of various nationalities, who were keen to document the historical moments of the coronation of the presidential camels through their lenses.

The curtain came down yesterday on the activities of the thirteenth Al-Marmoum “C” auction for the personal production of the weanling age, at the Heritage Village Theater.

The fourth and final evening witnessed the presentation of the final batch of 70 horses, amid a remarkable turnout from owners to put their final fingerprints on the deals.

At the forefront of the closing night sales was Bakra, which comes from the lineage of the father, Al-Faris – Al-Asifa, and the mother, Sogha. Its ownership was transferred to Mohammed Al-Muhairi for 600,000 dirhams, confirming the Al-Asifa lineage of its dominance over the collectors’ choices until the final moments of the auction.

Among the deals on the closing night, “Bokra” also emerged from the lineage of the father, “Engineer – Ba’ir Hamad Rashid bin Ghadeer,” and from the mother, “Al-Shahiniya,” whose ownership was acquired by Mohammed Hamad Saeed Al Hashimi for 280 thousand dirhams.
