المملكة: Including 2,300 infiltrators… 21,000 violators of residency, work, and border security regulations were arrested


Continue Joint field campaigns to follow up and arrest violators of residency, work and border security regulations, in all regions of the Kingdom.

The campaigns that took place from February 5 to 11 resulted in the following results:

Capturing violators

First: The total amounted to The violatorswho were caught in the joint security field campaigns in all regions of the Kingdom (21,029) violators, including (12,875) violators of the residency system, (4778) violators of the border security system, and (3376) violators of the labor system.

Second: The total number of those arrested while trying to cross the border into the Kingdom reached (2,307) people (47%) of whom were Yemenis, (52%) of Ethiopian nationality, and other nationalities (01%), and (75) people were arrested for trying to cross the border outside the Kingdom in an irregular manner.

Third: (29) were arrested involved in transporting, harboring, and employing violators of the residency, labor, and border security regulations and covering them up.

Fourth: The total number of those currently subject to regulations implementation procedures reached (23,312) expatriates who are violators, including (22,040) men and (1,272) women.

Fifth: (16,121) violators were referred to their diplomatic missions to obtain travel documents, (2,270) violators were referred to complete their travel reservations, and (13,213) violators were deported.

Reporting Violations

The Ministry of Interior confirmed that anyone who facilitates the entry of violators of the border security system into the Kingdom Or transporting them within it, or providing them with shelter, or providing them with any assistance or service in any way, exposes himself to penalties of up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to one million riyals, and confiscation of the means of transportation and housing used for shelter, in addition to defaming him.

She explained that this crime is considered a major crime requiring arrest, and a violation of honor and trust, urging people to report any cases of violation to the number (911) in the Mecca areas. Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Riyadh, and Al-Sharqiyah, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions.
