Hamdan bin Sultan crowns the winners of"Camel racing" With Masters games"

Abu Dhabi, February 14 / WAM / The Emirates Camel Racing Federation concluded today the “Masters Games, Abu Dhabi 2026” heritage race on the southern track in Al Wathba, for a distance of 1.5 km, amid the presence of a large audience from all segments of society.
The race witnessed 7 rounds, and included 147 participants from 15 countries, 22 in the first half, 18 in the second half, 13 women in the third half, 22 competitors in the fourth half, 23 in the fifth, 24 in the sixth, and 25 in the seventh.
The competitions resulted in contestant Salem Obaid Sobeih Al-Wahaibi with “Shaheen” winning the title in the first half, recording 3:11:81 minutes, and Salem Ali Salem with “Shaheen” in the second half, and Reem Muhammad Abdullah Salem with “Nihab” topping the third women’s half.
Rashid Muhammad bin Ghamil won the title in the fourth round with “Ghazilan”, Abdullah Hizam with “Makram” in the fifth round, Rashid Abdullah Al Kaabi with “Mutoj” won the title in the sixth round, and Omar Ahmed Rashid Al Hadfi, with “Salab”, concluded the competition by winning the title in the seventh round.
The winners were crowned by Sheikh Hamdan bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Director of International Events at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, and His Excellency Abdullah Mubarak Al Muhairi, Director General of the Camel Racing Federation, while Madiya Al Hashimi, Secretary General of the Asian Camel Racing Federation, crowned the winner of the women’s category, in the presence of Jens Holm, CEO of the International Masters Games Association, and Samantha Hayward, Director of Sports at the International Masters Games Association.
