Civil Aviation in Fujairah and Dubai sign a memorandum of understanding to enhance joint cooperation

Fujairah, February 16 / WAM / The Fujairah Civil Aviation Department and the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing joint cooperation and coordination between the two sides in areas related to the development of the civil aviation sector.

The memorandum, which comes within the framework of the UAE’s efforts to strengthen its global leadership in the civil aviation sector, aims to consolidate the strategic partnership between the two institutions in a way that supports the development of the civil aviation system, enhances the efficiency of institutional performance, and consolidates the commitment to applying the best international standards approved in this vital sector, which represents a basic pillar in supporting the process of sustainable economic growth in the country.

The memorandum stipulates enhancing the exchange of technical and knowledge expertise, adopting best operational practices, in addition to employing the latest technologies and advanced solutions, which contributes to improving the quality of services provided, enhancing levels of operational safety, and raising the efficiency of operational processes in accordance with the highest international standards.

His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah Sultan Al Salami, Head of the Fujairah Civil Aviation Department and Vice President of the General Civil Aviation Authority, stressed that the signing of the memorandum of understanding embodies the keenness of both sides to unify efforts and expand the horizons of joint cooperation, in a way that supports the competitiveness of the civil aviation sector in the country, and enhances the UAE’s position as a leading global center in the aviation industry.

He pointed out that this step represents a qualitative addition to the national efforts aimed at developing the civil aviation sector, by adopting innovation, enhancing institutional integration, and supporting sustainable growth in this vital sector in line with the state’s strategic directions.
