Gold and bronze for Sharjah Club in the International Youth Karate League

Sharjah, February 16 / WAM / Sharjah Sports Club duo Mohammed Al Otaibi and Mohammed Walid won gold and bronze medals, respectively, in the World Youth Karate League Championship in its fifth edition, hosted by Fujairah.

Muhammad Al-Otaibi won the gold in the under-40 kg kumite category, while Muhammad Walid won the bronze in the 45-kg junior category in the kumite competitions.

The World Youth Karate League witnessed a wide participation of 2,400 male and female players representing 93 countries around the world, and its competitions took place at the Zayed Sports Complex in the Emirate of Fujairah.
