Abu Dhabi Customs achieves remarkable growth in digital transactions

ABU DHABI, 17 February / WAM / The General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs recorded a 9.4% increase in customs transactions via digital platforms during the year 2025 compared to 2024, and the percentage of customs clearance transactions among them reached 30.6%, an increase of 6.6%, and achieved a rate of 97.1% in the customer satisfaction index for its services through the Abu Dhabi Digital Government Services platform “Tamm”, compared to a rate of 94.7%. The Abu Dhabi Customs services quality index increased during the year 2025 to 93.9% compared to 88% in 2024, the customer experience index recorded 92.5% compared to 87.3%, and the customer effort index on the “Tamm” platform decreased to 2.25 compared to 2.54.
Digital services contributed to eliminating 6.2 million visits to customs centers in 2025, and the total financial savings for customers amounted to about 850.3 million dirhams, which reflects the level of progress achieved in developing the customer journey and improving the efficiency of procedures, in line with the objectives of the Abu Dhabi Program for Effortless Customer Experience, and contributing to strengthening the emirate’s position as a leading destination in the field of customer experience with the government sector.
His Excellency Rashid Lahej Al Mansouri, Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, said that the growth achieved in digital customs transactions and the enhancement of customer experience during the year 2025 reflects the success of Abu Dhabi Customs’ strategy in developing an integrated digital services system based on artificial intelligence tools and advanced technology, and adopts an approach that places the customer and the business sector at the heart of the customs process, and supports the movement of trade and supply chains in accordance with the best international practices, in line with the aspirations of the Abu Dhabi government for digital leadership and contributes to supporting The emirate’s competitiveness strengthens its position as a global center for trade and logistics services.
His Excellency stressed the importance of continuing to work on employing the latest digital technologies and continuous development in cooperation with strategic partners in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership, to ensure the provision of highly efficient services that contribute to supporting the national economy and achieving sustainable development goals.
