Dubai U-12 team wins runner-up in the International Continental Championship

Within the framework of the Dubai Sports Council’s keenness to nurture talented players in the clubs of the Emirate of Dubai, the Council adopted the idea of ​​forming a team that includes an elite group of talented players under the age of 12, to represent the emirate’s clubs and participate in the International Under-13 Football Championship, which was held during the period from February 12 to 15 in its ninth edition, under the supervision of the Dubai Sports Council.

The tournament witnessed the participation of some of the best clubs in the world, including Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, Ajax, Celta Vigo, and Flamengo, in addition to local clubs and private academies.

Although the Dubai Club Talent Team under 12 years old was the youngest among all the participating teams by a full year, and in its first participation in this edition, it was able to achieve a distinguished achievement by obtaining runner-up position in the Bronze Cup, which is an achievement that is credited to the Dubai Sports Council and reflects its great interest in refining and nurturing talent according to the best standards.

The Council confirms the continuation of the sponsorship program for this team during the coming years, in order to preserve the gains of this international participation and enhance the process of developing football talent in the emirate.
