"Abu Dhabi Judiciary" The dates for communication between inmates in correctional centers are determined during Ramadan

Abu Dhabi, February 18 / WAM / The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department has approved dates and a mechanism for visual communication between inmates of correctional and rehabilitation centers and their families via the smart application “Nafati” throughout the holy month of Ramadan, as part of its keenness to enable inmates to have continuous communication with their families, in a way that strengthens family ties and supports psychological stability as a basic pillar of rehabilitation and community integration efforts.
According to the approved mechanism, video communication is available from the first day of the month of Ramadan from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm from Monday to Thursday, while Friday is designated for communication between embassies and lawyers during the period from 9:30 to 11:30 am, taking into account regulatory controls according to the requests registered through the electronic system, to ensure continuity of service with high efficiency.
The Judicial Department explained that applications are submitted electronically by inmates’ families via the Abu Dhabi Government Services website “Tamm,” tps://www.tamm.abudhabi/ar-ae, or via the following link www.adpolice.gov.ae, through the “Visit an Inmate” service, provided that the applicant is notified by a text message that includes the specific time and location designated for making the video call using the “Nafizti” application.
