Ajman will miss the services of “Peru” against Sharjah, according to an agreement between the two clubs

The Ajman team will miss the services of its new Brazilian player, Guilherme Peru, during the upcoming confrontation against Sharjah, tomorrow, in the 17th round of the ADNOC Professional League, due to a contractual clause that prevents his participation in any official match between the two clubs.
Peru joined the Orange on loan from Sharjah, but the agreement concluded between the two clubs stipulates that he will not participate against his original team, so he will miss one of the most prominent matches of the tour, despite the remarkable start he made with Ajman.
The Brazilian player excelled in his first appearance in the Ajman shirt during the last confrontation with Khor Fakkan, which ended in a major victory for the Orange with a score of 5-2, as he played a pivotal role in the offensive superiority, and succeeded in creating more than one goal, providing positive indicators that strengthened the fans’ aspirations with his ability to add qualitative strength to the front line.
Ajman team manager, Mohammed Hussein, said that Peru’s absence is a great technical loss for us, especially since he performed at a distinguished level in his first appearance against Khor Fakkan, and he played an influential role in creating more than one goal during the match that ended with our 5-2 victory. But in the end, we respect the agreement concluded with the Sharjah administration, and the player will be outside the team’s roster for today’s match
He added to “Emirates Today”: “We are also facing the absence of defender Salem Suleiman due to injury, and this forces us to find suitable alternatives. We have great confidence in the rest of the elements, and the technical staff has worked over the past days to prepare the team in the required manner.”
The Ajman team manager touched on the importance of the match, saying: “The confrontation will not be easy for both parties. “Sharjah is a big team and has distinguished elements, and despite its exit from the AFC Champions League, this may give its players additional motivation to appear strong and search for the three points to reconcile their fans.”
Regarding Ajman’s position in the ranking table, he explained: “We are in a good position after two successive wins against Kalba and Khor Fakkan, which gave the players a great morale boost and raised our score to seventh place, one point behind Al-Nasr. This closeness in points increases our enthusiasm to continue the victories.”
Mohamed Hussein concluded his statements by saying: “The team has developed a lot in terms of attack, and we scored eight goals in the last two matches, and the new deals, whether from Peru or the Moroccan player Yahya Gibran, have added important solutions for us on the field. We are confident in our ability to present a strong match and achieve a positive result that continues our upward march in the league.”
