Al Ain Municipality organizes the Breaking the Fast initiative
Al Ain, February 20 / WAM / The Al Ain City Municipality organizes daily an initiative to break the fast during the holy month of Ramadan in front of the iftar cannon in the municipality square, in a spiritual atmosphere that embodies the values of solidarity and compassion that characterize the holy month, in cooperation with a number of government and private agencies and volunteer teams, within the framework of strengthening community partnership and consolidating the values of giving and solidarity.
The initiative includes distributing about 300 iftar boxes daily to break the fast before the time of the Maghrib call to prayer. They are prepared and the distribution process is organized through field teams to ensure the smooth flow of movement and the safety of the beneficiaries.
The initiative comes from the municipality’s commitment to supporting humanitarian and community initiatives, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, which reflects the integration of roles between institutions to serve the community, consolidate the values of solidarity and compassion, and enhance the quality of life in society.
The initiative coincides with the launch of the Iftar cannon in Al Ain Municipality Square, which is considered one of the authentic Ramadan legacies, where families and visitors gather in a distinctive spiritual atmosphere that reflects the depth of the Emirati heritage, while the municipality confirms through the initiative its keenness to support humanitarian initiatives and enhance the spirit of cooperation and social responsibility during the holy month.
