His career is threatened in Barcelona.. Hamza Abdel Karim returns to Egypt

Media reports confirmed that striker Hamza Abdel Karim returned to Egypt temporarily, in a step aimed at accelerating the administrative procedures associated with obtaining a work permit, in preparation for his official registration and participation with the reserve team of Barcelona Athletic Club.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo reported that the 18-year-old left Spain after a delay in bureaucratic procedures, which has prevented him from being officially registered and prevented him from playing competitive matches so far, and accordingly, the date of his debut remains undetermined until the necessary official approvals are completed.
She added: “Abdul Karim’s participation in official competitions is entirely linked to obtaining a work permit, which is a mandatory condition before he is allowed to participate in local tournaments.”
She pointed out that the Catalan club had previously dealt with similar cases, where some foreign players were forced to return to their countries of origin for a short period in order to complete the required papers faster, in a procedure that is seen as a practical solution to avoid further complications.
She stressed that despite this administrative impasse, the atmosphere inside the club appears calm, as officials are closely following the file without rush, with the conviction that the issue is purely organizational and is not related to any technical or disciplinary aspects concerning the player.
