In a development step to keep pace with the million-person population during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque increased the operational capacity of the service. "Decommissioning from asceticism"aiming to provide the free service to about 360,000 beneficiaries, within a safe, healthy environment that ensures the comfort of pilgrims immediately after they finish performing their rituals.

The operational plan for the Ramadan season included increasing the service fleet to 12 equipped vehicles, of which 10 vehicles were allocated for men and two vehicles for women. These vehicles are stationed in vital and approved locations, including the area "Bab al-Marwa" The eastern courtyard is adjacent to the restrooms "Al-Qashashiya"To provide quick and easy access for visitors to the Grand Mosque without the hassle of searching and navigating.

This innovative service is characterized by exceptional operational efficiency. Where the average time does not exceed The waiting period for the pilgrim is 4 minutes, while decomposition is completed within only two minutes. This record time achievement coincides with the implementation of strict health and preventive protocols, including periodic and continuous sterilization of tools and service delivery sites, to ensure the highest standards of public safety.

The language of numbers reflects the size of the efforts made in this specific service, as the total number of beneficiaries has exceeded two million beneficiaries since its launch, with a monthly average of about 210,000 Umrah pilgrims, and a daily average of 7,000 beneficiaries. To keep up with the Ramadan intensity, we decided to increase the number of Operational vehiclesfrom 8 vehicles on normal days to 12 vehicles during the holy month. These field indicators translate the authority’s keenness to enhance operating efficiency, expand the field scope, and provide an integrated environment that supports the journey of the guests of God and enriches their experience in the Grand Mosque.
