In response to the complaint published in the “Sikaik” corner regarding residents of the “Modon” residential city in Dubai noticing the daily traffic congestion of vehicles at the entrance to the school located at the exit of the city, and asking them to look into their suffering and find solutions for it, the Dubai Roads and Transport Authority reported that there are a number of existing development projects planned to be implemented in the vicinity of the “Modon” area, which would contribute to alleviating traffic congestion and improving the efficiency of the road network. These projects include developing Al Qudra Street, which includes developing the intersection with “Modon” Street. Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan, in addition to implementing a bridge at the traffic intersection near the entrance to Arabian Ranches, which is a project currently under implementation.
As part of the authority’s future plans, Hessa Street will be developed to reach Emirates Road, a project currently under study, and it aims to distribute traffic more efficiently, thus contributing to reducing pressure on the current entrances and exits to the area.
The authority confirmed its continued monitoring of traffic conditions, coordination with the concerned authorities, and working to implement sustainable interim solutions in accordance with the approved plans, in order to achieve the aspirations of the population and keep pace with urban growth in the region.

Drivers were surprised that some people placed dangerous loads above the legal limit in the back compartment of their vehicles, without being aware of the dangers of doing so on the roads, such as large barrels, weeds or palm trees in large quantities, and they hoped that the concerned authorities would find a solution to this matter.

Residents in some residential neighborhoods said that they suffer from a scarcity of parking spaces if a person visits his relatives during the month of Ramadan, noting that non-residents are not allowed to park in the parking lots near residential buildings after a specific hour at night, which makes Ramadan family visits difficult.
