Schools that emphasize students’ regularity to complete courses and ensure readiness for final exams

The administrations of a number of public and private schools that implement the Ministry of Education’s curriculum have stressed the importance of students’ regular school attendance during the holy month of Ramadan, stressing the importance of daily attendance with seriousness and commitment, especially with the approaching final exams for the second semester.
The prescribed curriculum
The departments explained, in circulars addressed to parents and students, and seen by Emirates Today, that some of the academic subjects have not yet been fully explained, and will be completed in the coming days, as they are part of the prescribed curriculum and will be included in the content of the final exams, calling on students to invest the remaining school days with a high spirit of responsibility and perseverance.
Empowerment classes
The schools indicated that the school day is not only limited to completing the explanation of the courses, but also includes empowerment, review, and strengthening sessions in the basic subjects, with the aim of supporting students academically, addressing weaknesses, and enhancing their readiness for tests, which contributes to raising the level of achievement and achieving honorable results.
In the same context, the departments indicated the Ministry of Education’s keenness to follow up on the regularity of school hours, by implementing organized procedures to ensure commitment to attendance, in addition to the continued visits of support and follow-up committees to schools to review the progress of the educational process and ensure the achievement of the desired goals during this important stage of the school year.
Preventing students from leaving
The schools confirmed that students are not allowed to leave before completing their full lessons, and that early departure is not allowed except in emergency cases and in accordance with the approved controls, calling on parents to fully cooperate and not request that their children leave before the end of school, out of concern for their academic interest.
She stressed that the students’ commitment to attendance and discipline during this period reflects the spirit of responsibility and enhances their chances of excellence and success, wishing everyone continued success and prosperity in this holy month.
