Hakimi comments on his accusation of rape

Moroccan Achraf Hakimi, the full-back of the Paris Saint-Germain team, commented on his referral to trial due to the rape case in which he was accused, in France.
Achraf Hakimi was accused of raping a girl 3 years ago, a charge that the Paris Saint-Germain defender has repeatedly denied.
Hakimi said in a blog post on his account on the “X” platform: “Today, a mere accusation of rape is sufficient to justify a trial, even though I deny it and all evidence proves it is false.”
He added: “It is an injustice against innocent people. I await this trial calmly, which will allow the truth to come to light.”
Achraf Hakimi was transferred to trial before a local criminal court in France on charges of rape, according to what was published by the “France Info” website.
The date of the incident in which the Moroccan defender is accused dates back to February 24, 2023, that is, 3 years ago.
The next day, a girl went to the Nogent-sur-Marne police station to file a report against the Paris Saint-Germain full-back. The girl confirmed in her report that she had gone to his house the previous day and had been sexually assaulted.
