University of Sharjah and"CFA Institute" They sign a memorandum of understanding

Sharjah, February 25 / WAM / The University of Sharjah signed a memorandum of understanding with the CFA Institute, as part of its endeavor to expand its international academic and professional partnerships, and support the development of national competencies in the fields of finance and investment, in a way that enhances the quality of financial education and links its outcomes to the requirements of the labor market.
The memorandum was signed by Dr. Salah Taher Al-Hajj, Vice Chancellor for Community Affairs, and Paul Moody, Global Executive Director of the Institute.
The memorandum stipulates the establishment of a joint cooperation framework that includes organizing specialized awareness sessions for students of the College of Business Administration, providing a number of accredited professional certificates in the fields of investment, private markets and data science, in addition to providing the opportunity for students to participate in professional activities that contribute to enhancing their readiness for the labor market.
The cooperation also includes providing specialized feedback on the university’s finance curricula, ensuring their alignment with global best practices and professional standards, in addition to supporting initiatives and activities of common interest, which reflects the university’s commitment to developing an advanced educational environment that keeps pace with the rapid transformations in the financial sector.
