Ibn Muammar emphasized this in his speech during the opening when he presented the original copy of the manuscript of the origins of The library feels proud that this manuscript is unparalleled in the world, and I personally believe that it is one of the rarest manuscripts or sources that the library has acquired in its 40-year history, and that the exhibition represents a documented knowledge reading of a pivotal stage in the history of the Kingdom, and highlights how the power of man, horses, and will came together to create the state and consolidate the foundations of unity.

He explained that this country was founded on the doctrine of monotheism and the goal of unity, and that horses, camels, and human strength were the primary means of establishing its foundations, pointing out that the exhibition provides documented historical evidence confirming the depth and authenticity of this connection.
He added that the diversity of the exhibition’s sources between local, Arab, and foreign reflects the library’s interest, extending over more than four decades, in collecting and documenting everything related to horses and equestrianism, indicating that this unique wealth of knowledge enhances the Kingdom’s presence in preserving its heritage. And presenting it to generations in the documented language and evidence.
Historical Collections
The exhibition will be held in the library branch on Khurais Road, and will continue until the end of August 2026 AD, and includes large collections of rare historical collectibles, including manuscripts, documents, pictures, Islamic miniatures, historical publications, and illustrated books.
Among its most prominent exhibits is the manuscript of Abbas Pasha I, which began its preparation in 1848 AD, and is considered one of the The most important references in documenting the lineages of Arabian horses, their names, stalls, breeds, and owners. It also displays the gilded illustrated book "Eastern horses" Issued in 1821 AD, which is considered one of the oldest Western studies on Arabian horses.
History of the Saudi State
The exhibition also includes rare photos taken by the British Princess Alice in 1938 AD, in addition to what Ibn Bishr recorded in "The title of glory in the history of Najd" About horses in the first and second Saudi states, and an encyclopedia "knighthood" Bibliography, and a number of artistic paintings, Islamic coins, and short films that document the place of the horse in the Arab and Saudi conscience.
