The Ruler of Sharjah directs expansion and restoration "Sharq Market" In Khor Fakkan

Sharjah, June 22, 2017 / WAM / His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, directed the Sharjah Heritage Institute to expand, restore and revive “Souq Sharq” in Khor Fakkan with a new look bearing the name “Houses of Artisans”.

“Artisans’ Houses” will be a destination that embraces craftsmen specialized in teaching traditional crafts. It will also provide sessions for the public with the aim of enhancing the aesthetic landscape of Khor Fakkan Beach, and contribute to preserving the cultural heritage and enriching the tourism and heritage components of the city.
