Coffee production in the Kingdom
The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture explained during its campaign that it launched under the slogan "The good of our land"The regions of the Kingdom (Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Najran) host more than (1.3) million fruitful coffee trees, producing more than (870) tons of pure coffee annually, and the Jazan region leads in the number Coffee trees with more than (966) thousand fruitful trees, producing more than (642) tons of pure coffee, followed by the Asir region with more than (243) thousand fruitful trees, producing more than (175) tons of pure coffee.
The Ministry added that the number of fruitful coffee trees in the Al-Baha region reached about (72) thousand trees, while the number of trees is In the Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, there are more than (12) thousand fruitful trees, producing more than (10) tons of pure coffee, while the Najran region includes more than (9) thousand fruitful trees, producing more than (7) tons of pure coffee.
The Ministry called on all consumers to consume national coffee products, due to their rich nutritional benefits, stressing that the consumption of agricultural products contributes to supporting farmers and enhancing food security, in accordance with With the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
