Flights arriving and departing from Zayed International Airport may experience delays, diversions or cancellations

Abu Dhabi Airports announced that some flights arriving and departing from Zayed International Airport may witness delays, diversions or cancellations, in light of the temporary closure of the UAE’s airspace.

She confirmed in a statement published on the “X” platform that “the safety of travelers is our top priority, and we are working in close coordination with airlines and the competent authorities to manage the situation and reduce any delays as much as possible.”

She added in the statement: “Passengers who have travel appointments today are requested to contact their airlines directly and confirm their flight times before heading to the airport.”

Abu Dhabi Airports explained that further updates will be published as soon as additional information becomes available, and called on the public to obtain information from official sources.
