The Israeli army announces the destruction of half of Iran’s missile stock

The Israeli army said on Sunday that it had destroyed about half of Iran’s stock of missiles, noting that the Islamic Republic was producing dozens of “surface-to-surface” missiles every month.

Army spokesman Avi Dufrin said in a televised statement, “During the operation, we destroyed about half of the Iranian regime’s missile stockpile and prevented the production of at least 1,500 additional missiles.”

Dufrin added, “The regime had recently been producing dozens of surface-to-surface missiles per month and intended to increase production to reach hundreds per month.”
