championship "Ellington 2026" Launching the UAE Padel Tour
Dubai, 2 March / WAM / The Emirates Tennis and Padel Federation is organizing the local classification tournament “Ellington 2026”, which represents the first competition of the UAE Padel Tour 2026, as part of the activities of the current edition of the “Nad Al Sheba Sports Tournament”.
The tournament will be held at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex, in cooperation with the Ellington Sports Foundation, which aims to support talent, raise the level of competition, and provide organized and sustainable paths for developing players from the early stages, thus contributing to establishing a long-term sports culture in the UAE.
The tournament falls within an agenda that includes 35 tournaments held in various emirates of the country during the UAE Padel Tour 2026 season, as part of a strategy aimed at enhancing the spread of the game and consolidating its position at the societal and competitive levels.
The tournament includes three competitive categories, including the 20-point category, in addition to the men’s and women’s tournaments, with 16 teams participating in each competition.
The semi-final matches in the three categories are scheduled to be held tomorrow, and the competitions will conclude with the final matches on Tuesday.
