Al Qasimia University launches a program "A good return"

Sharjah, June 21, 2017 (WAM) – Al Qasimia University launched the “Praiseworthy Return” program dedicated to graduate students of various nationalities, as part of its continuing efforts to support their academic and professional careers, enhance their readiness to move to the post-graduation stage, and enable them to fulfill their role as ambassadors for the university’s mission in their countries and communities around the world.
The program comes within the framework of the university’s mission aimed at preparing academically and culturally qualified graduates who are able to contribute to the development of their societies and consolidate the values of moderation, tolerance and coexistence among peoples, and as an embodiment of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, founder of Al Qasimia University, to invest in people and build scientific and intellectual competencies capable of making a positive impact in their homelands.
The program aims to provide graduates with the knowledge and skills that enhance their professional and societal presence, and qualify them to continue the process of giving and building based on the values they acquired during their years of study at the university.
The “Praiseworthy Return” program reflects Al Qasimia University’s commitment to continuing to develop its educational and rehabilitation system, ensuring the preparation of graduates who possess academic competence and the ability to have a positive impact on their communities, and to contribute to spreading the values of moderation and human understanding, in line with the vision on which the university was founded and its global mission.
The program includes a series of seminars, lectures, and specialized training workshops that focus on developing leadership and professional skills, refining effective communication skills, and enhancing graduates’ abilities to interact positively with various cultural and societal environments, in addition to consolidating the values of dialogue, understanding, and respect for cultural diversity.
His Excellency Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, confirmed that the “Good Return” program embodies the university’s keenness to continue communicating with its graduates and providing them with cognitive and skill support even after completing their university studies, indicating that the university views its graduates as an extension of its cultural and humanitarian mission in various countries of the world.
He said that Al Qasimia University’s mission is not limited to providing academic education only, but rather it seeks to prepare graduates who possess the knowledge, values, and ability to contribute to the development of their societies and promote a culture of dialogue, tolerance, and coexistence. He explained that the “Praiseworthy Return” program represents a qualitative milestone that contributes to qualifying graduates for the next stage and enhancing their role as ambassadors for the university and its humanitarian mission in various parts of the world.
He added that the cultural diversity that characterizes Al Qasimia University, which includes students from more than 136 nationalities, constitutes a rich environment for preparing youth models capable of building bridges of communication between peoples and cultures, and consolidating the bright image of the UAE and its message based on tolerance, openness, and human coexistence.
