Iran war.. A British base in Cyprus was evacuated after the sirens sounded

A British base was imagined at CyprusMonday after Sirens sounded, according to what an Agence France-Presse correspondent reported.

About 70 cars were seen leaving the Akrotiri base on the southern coast of the island, according to what the correspondent said, adding that most of them had civilian license plates.

The base includes civilians working at the site alongside military personnel.

This came hours after Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides announced that an Iranian drone had crashed at the base. The same, with the expansion of the US-Israeli war with Iran in the region.
