Explosions sounded in occupied Jerusalem after an Iranian missile warning was raised

Explosions sounded around 5:00 GMT Monday in Jerusalem and sirens were sounded after the army announced that Iran had launched missiles towards Israel, according to what Agence France-Presse journalists reported.
Explosions were also heard in the Tel Aviv area in central Israel.
The army reported that "A short time ago, Israeli forces detected missiles launched from Iran towards the territory of the State of Israel". He added that air defenses were activated to intercept it, calling on residents to go to shelters.
